I reached 13 lbs released!! Woo hoo!! I'm excited for anything released. It's so exciting to see this work.

Today is the 4th of July festivities. I don't know exactly what we are doing but I do know we have a BBQ to go to later today. I guess I better start cooking up some food for myself so when we go out all I have to do is get a salad or something to go with my chicken. I'd much rather take my own chicken than have something from a fast food place. The lettuce isn't much better but can't take that around in the handy dandy neon green lunch tote thing.

So, I cooked up 6 pieces of chicken in my sweet George Forman Grill. Have them in the fridge so this weekend when we decide we are going to go somewhere I can pack my own food. That handy dandy neon green lunch tote is pretty sweet it holds a lot.

While I was cooking the chicken I ate one and then I cut up a couple tomatoes and put them on a little cookie sheet with some minced garlic, garlic powder and pepper. I baked them for about 15 minutes probably and they were ok. I think I like raw tomatoe with salt and pepper better.

I made 2 qts of Iced Tea today and drank most of it before we left. So, I'm trying to get in all the liquid. I thought it was supposed to be getting easier to drink more.

We didn't get to the bbq until about 7. We had to stop at the store on the way there to get chips. I also got myself a bag of romaine lettuce so I could eat my chicken and cucumbers with something else. I cut up strawberries and sprinkled them with some stevia to take with us too.

Getting to the BBQ was so tempting to eat some of those potatoe salads or macaroni salads. YUM! I didn't... I ate my chicken on my lettuce and then some of my cucumbers. I was too full to even get out my strawberries.

AM and B came later and brought me an Iced Coffee from Starbucks. YUM!! I was SOOO craving it. I still didn't eat my strawberries by the end of the night but that coffee was good with my stevia and it was gone fast.

We stayed and watched the fireworks and the boys had a blast. A did NOT want to sit long enough to watch them. She knew she'd go to sleep.
