Round 2 Update... Phase 4

Well, round 2 was just plain odd. I had a really hard time keeping on protocol. So, daily I did eat something I shouldn't have. I only lost about 12 lbs total. During maintenance phase I did maintain really well for 3 weeks. I was still eating stuff I shouldn't have been eating. I planned a disneyland vacation for my family the 2nd week of phase 4 so I didn't have to worry about what I could or couldn't eat while on vacation. Before we left vacation I had gained about 3 lbs in that week.

I weighed myself as soon as we got home and the scale had said 13 lbs over my maintenance weight. YIKES! How in the world could I have done that much walking and gain that much weight. I'm thinking it's water weight. I did eat a TON of almonds on the drive so with that protein I hope it helps my water go down. By the time I went to bed the scale had gone down 2 lbs and this morning it was already down another 2 lbs. So, I guess my gain wasn't as scary as it looked.

I do have to confess that Disneyland has the best mint chocolate chip ice cream I've had in a long time. That could be because I haven't had much ice cream for a long time. LOL I think I had one every day we were there. We only took snacks with us and if we bought something in the park it was once a day. It's toooooo dang expensive there.

So, I'm staying on phase 4 for a while.... I'll do my best to maintain through it. I'm trying to decided if I can squeeze another round in before the holidays hit. I feel bloated and heavy and just not the same. It's amazing how different your eating lifestyle makes you feel.

YAY!! Finally... hopefully this is the beginning of another downhill loss.

To add to yesterdays "off" day I forgot to do the HCG before I went to bed too. UGH! So, I took it at 7 am this morning (only 4 sprays) and will do it again at my normal times today. I feel "lighter" too. It's always uplifting to get a loss after being discouraged for a few days.

I went to lunch with my dad and kids and had a chicken salad. Then I didn't eat again until I got home from the viewing I went to and I had lettuce and about a cup of cottage cheese.

I felt "lighter" today not that heavy feeling. I think I'm going to start taking my supplements, Enzymes, Cleanse, Multi-Vitamin and Antioxident. I hope that won't affect anything.

Ok so today I decided I'm at a plateau so I need to do something about this because I'm getting discouraged. I am frustrated enough that I forget to do the HCG in the morning because I'm so concerned about getting my eggs ready for the day. For some reason I knew the eggs weren't right but that's what I had to do before so that's what I where my mind was. I had 4 eggs before 2 in the afternoon when I realized after reading on a forum DUH!! it's an Apple Day. Guess I'll eat apples instead of finishing the day with Eggs and see what happens.

The day just dragged but I got a few things done in the living room.

I ended up having about 3 or 4 apples. I cannot even remember. My last apple was at 6:30ish then my friend picked me up and we went to a Stampin Up Demonstrator meeting. I got a Lipton Unsweetened Iced Tea and a cup of Ice from the gas station on my way there and drank that for the rest of the night. I was full the rest of the night.

Overall it was just an OFF day but we need these for some reason I guess. LOL

Notice? The change of HCG sub-lingual recipe? Yup, I changed it this time.... More Vodka (just for you remi LOL) and less B-12. I ran out of B-12 LOL and I thought maybe using more Vodka will taste better. It was getting a pretty bitter taste at the end there.

Ok so today... well I didn't eat anything until about 2. I just wasn't all that hungry, so I ate some cottage cheese. I've decided to eat some cottage cheese to replace some of my chicken. I love chicken but... I hate cooking and it's so hot to cook all day. I then had an apple about 4 and didn't have dinner until about 8 pm. Yep that's right, 8 pm. Big day today! I had garlic ground chicken patties (cooked on GF Grill) and tomatoes on romaine lettuce leaves with a little of the Mayo (with olive oil) mixed with curry and tonight a little Chipotle Chile Powder. YUMMY!

I just mixed my newest HCG and it's 1 am. Baby A is awake and I have NO idea why. She's been up early and not taking very long naps either. She doesn't seem to feel sick or anything. Dunno!

Before I forget... I got a new (to me) car today. It's not the bestest but it's pretty dang cute. It's a green (my fav color next to pink) Jetta! Yes, I used to have a Jetta before kids and of course had to turn it in at the end of my lease.

Oh and I took my new little car and Z to the new Organic store in town. I wasn't too impressed. I ended up going to Sam's after that store and got my favorite produce there. I wasn't happy I had just spent $$ at the organic store and ended up at Sam's anyway. Oh well.

Oh and I started TOM yesterday. I can't remember if I noted that.

Starting this phase has been very strange for me. I wasn't really ready I guess. I started the spray last sunday night. I kept forgetting in the morning. So, I planned on starting the VLCD Tuesday. Then Tuesday came and I really wanted Ice Cream so I said ok Wed. Same thing... I just wanted Ice Cream. I really was going to start Thursday. Well, as you guess it I didn't. Didn't start Friday either or Saturday or Sunday!!

Today I have started the VLCD not exact to protocol but Ice Cream or Bread isn't included in my meal plan today. So far I wasn't hungry this morning but I made a plate with mixed lettuce greens about 3/4 cup of cottage cheese and a cut up tomato. The tomato didn't look too great and the lettuce tasted funny. So, I shared the Cottage Cheese with A. I've been drinking a TON of water.

I got hungry about 2:30ish so I decided to cut up 2 boiled eggs and used a little of the Mayo with Olive Oil to mix it and sprinkled some curry powder in it. I know sounds gross! It was actually good. I then put it on Romaine Lettuce leaves and ate it like that. A tried to share that with me too but I melted some cheese on a piece of bread and put turkey on it for her. She still wanted mine. She shared hers with her dad as he walked in the door.

For dinner I don't know what I'm going to have but I'm craving the ground chicken with garlic on romaine lettuce that I made last week. The kids and U LOVED it. Some ate it on bread but most of us had it on the lettuce.

Ok it's now the next day and I'm just finishing this. For dinner I mixed a can of tuna with a few spoons of the Mayo with Olive Oil and some Hot Dog Relish.... It wasn't exactly what I imagined but was edible. I ate it on the romaine lettuce leaves. Now, I need to go shopping again.

I didn't get hungry the rest of the night and felt fine. Other than the fact I started TOM today. Guess that's why I had a little gain but it's not as bad as it was last round. Thank goodness.

I'm a Dork!

I was going to start my HCG yesterday and can you believe I totally forgot to spray? Then, I was going to start today and the same thing... SO I'm going to spraydouble before I go to bed and then in the morning so I hope it's not too much of a no no. We'll see...

Honestly next Phase 3 and 4 I don't think I'm going to eat this heavy. It's not very fun. I feel yucky, very bloated and super heavy and tired. I've taken a nap probably every day this weekend. I have a lot of stuff to do because I've decided to move all the rooms in my house around except the kitchen and bathroom. LOL

TMI Warning!! I have more gas now than I did during the VLCD. It's so weird. Never thought I'd notice something like that but I did notice it.

This means LOTS of de-cluttering and work!

P4R1D1 AMAZING

Ok I don't know if we are supposed to exactly "maintain" weight on phase 4 because it's not exactly written out in the details. I'm not sure why but when I woke up this morning and weighed I was down 1 lb from yesterday taking me below LDW (last dose weight) over 2 lbs. This means I've lost more than 20 lbs... 22.5 to be exact! OMG I'm sooo excited.

I ate left over salad on Sunday and it made me sick. I was seriously ill all day. TMI Warning: I actually threw it up later in the evening. I didn't eat anything else that day because I wasn't feeling well.

Monday I wasn't feeling so well still but I did eat. I can't remember what I ate but I know I did.

Tuesday I took the boys to McD's and I went to Beto's and got a Chicken burrito and chips with Guac and a side of pinto beans. I ate almost half of the chips and almost half of the burrito. I think the beans are still in the fridge. LOL I was SOOOO full all day. I didn't eat anything else all day. Oh wait I did have a sugar cookie left over from convention that I saved in my bag. I think I ate some trail mix with A that morning too. I ate the m&m's and peanuts and she had the raisins. I wasn't supposed to start until Wed. Ooopsie... I lost track of days.

Today! Wednesday... I had 3 chocolate covered cinnamon bears for breakfast and I did share with A again. Then we went to Leatherby's for lunch after swimming lessons. I had Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich with cheese fries and of course fry sauce and shared an Isaiah's Almond joy with a side of hot fudge with my husband. YUMMMY!!! I was sooo sick. I had a ton of water. My mom brought me a large Peach Iced Tea from Sonic. It is sooo sweeet I still have half of it sitting here.

I'm supposed to start the HCG again this weekend. Saturday actually. This time I'm planning on 40 days. Maybe even 60 days. I'm going to have to look at the calendar and see where the days take me. I want to eat Tgiving dinner! and yummies at the holidays. Soooo time will tell.

I'm going to Sushi this weekend and hopefully Indian Food and my favorite Morelia's at some point. I'm ready to take the scales down more.

Thanks for the support and cheerleading... it's soooo helpful and rewarding.

Oh and today.... I talked to my BFF in NJ and am going to send her my clothes that I shrink out of because she's shrinking too. She's just a little bit behind me. So, I may as well share the wealth. She's catching up fast. LOL My next size down from what I started with is starting to fall off. Even without losing actual weight I'm losing inches because they are getting bigger and bigger on me.

Ending Phase 3

I know it's been a long time since I updated. I'm horrible at keeping up on this. I promised I'd post a few weeks ago and didn't.

I started phase 3 doing great. I only had 1 protein (steak) day. I was .2 above my 2 lbs from last dose day. That day was a day I had planned on going to dinner with some friends from high school. I didn't want to miss out on the yummy food. So, I ate 6 boiled eggs that day and went to dinner and had my usual anyway. I was amazed to find out the next day I did lose a bit. So it wasn't so bad I guess.

Today is my last day of phase 3. I have been cheating (deviating) ... I have to admit. I've also been staying within my 2 lbs of my last dose weight. During my Stampin Up convention the meals they provided were not that great or filling. They included a sugar cookie a few days and a chocolate chip cookie a few days. The first day I ate 1/2 the sugar cookie the next day I ate the other 1/2 then the next day they had ice cream so I had an éclair bar and an ice cream sandwich. I didn't gain!! I was very bloated though. I did drink more water than normal days too. So my deviating was only the last few days. I almost had a cheesecake that I got free at Olive Garden after waiting over 2 hours to eat. I gave it to my husband so I didn't eat it because I was SOOOO ready to.

We went to Mimi's Cafe for Dinner Saturday night and I brought my carrot cake muffin home and ate it yesterday and today I'm actually DOWN weight. I can't wait for tomorrow I want to take my kids to Leatherby's this week. They've been asking to go and I keep making them wait.

I'm excited to start losing again!! A few more days and I'm back on VLCD again!!

I haven't posted for a week. Same old daily stuff was going on. I did do some carpet cleaning this week. In the babies room and down the hall. The room is nice and clean and organized. We'll see how long that lasts. Now the princess can go in and play with toys and she really likes it.

Anyway, today deserves a blog day!! I released 2.8 lbs today! OH MY!!! This is unreal. The whole week I have felt hungry pretty much every day from sunday through wed. I started doing more sprays. I started with 4 in the morning and evening on Wed., 4 Thurs morning and 5 in the evening, 5 Friday morning and probably 6 Friday evening. Friday evening I had to get more HCG out of my jar to last through Sunday and it sprayed a little before I did that but not a lot so I just did 5 when I got it in my sprayer. Whatever it was it did something good. LOL Maybe the potency was stronger.

I'm feeling good this morning. Not really hungry but I'm very thirsty. I think I haven't been drinking a lot of water the last few days while working on getting the bedroom clean. I know that's the most crucial time too.

So far I'm really excited about the amt released, even with gained days. It's awesome.

Today is Saturday and tomorrow will be my last dose day. I will continue the vlcd for 3 days and then I'm officially on Phase 3. I am a little scared of it because I'm still not exactly sure what I can eat. I'm going to read up on it today.

I'm going to do the phase 3 for 3 weeks and then I'm going to start phase 2 again on August 9th with the gang. That gives me almost a week on Phase 4... SOOOOO I have to read up on phase 4 too.

I cannot wait until I can eat some Ice Cream... that is what I've been craving. LOL

I'm amazed!! and yesterday was a fairly decent day. Going to a BBQ and NOT cheeting!!

Today I went to a baby shower and took my own chicken and salad. On my way there I stopped at Starbucks to get an Iced Coffee (or two). Yes, I got 2!! I put them in a big insulated mug to take with me all day. I sprayed my chicken and salad with liquid aminos and it wasn't bad. I am thinking of going the easiest route for eating now. Just the grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce.

We did a few things in the afternoon and couldn't decide if we wanted to go to a movie or just go home and play on the Guitar Hero my sister brought over. So, I got a salad from Wendy's again. Just in case we did go to the movie. We ended up going home to play Guitar Hero and ordering Pizza for the family.

I tried to serve the pizza and just couldn't do it without feeling I really wanted some. So, I had to sit in the other room by myself. This is the first time I've felt this strongly about cheating.

I had my strawberries that I got ready to eat yesterday after everyone ate. They were good but not completely satisfying.

We did fireworks and took my sister home and just got back about 1/2 hour ago. I still have coffee left so I'll drink it tomorrow. YAY!

I reached 13 lbs released!! Woo hoo!! I'm excited for anything released. It's so exciting to see this work.

Today is the 4th of July festivities. I don't know exactly what we are doing but I do know we have a BBQ to go to later today. I guess I better start cooking up some food for myself so when we go out all I have to do is get a salad or something to go with my chicken. I'd much rather take my own chicken than have something from a fast food place. The lettuce isn't much better but can't take that around in the handy dandy neon green lunch tote thing.

So, I cooked up 6 pieces of chicken in my sweet George Forman Grill. Have them in the fridge so this weekend when we decide we are going to go somewhere I can pack my own food. That handy dandy neon green lunch tote is pretty sweet it holds a lot.

While I was cooking the chicken I ate one and then I cut up a couple tomatoes and put them on a little cookie sheet with some minced garlic, garlic powder and pepper. I baked them for about 15 minutes probably and they were ok. I think I like raw tomatoe with salt and pepper better.

I made 2 qts of Iced Tea today and drank most of it before we left. So, I'm trying to get in all the liquid. I thought it was supposed to be getting easier to drink more.

We didn't get to the bbq until about 7. We had to stop at the store on the way there to get chips. I also got myself a bag of romaine lettuce so I could eat my chicken and cucumbers with something else. I cut up strawberries and sprinkled them with some stevia to take with us too.

Getting to the BBQ was so tempting to eat some of those potatoe salads or macaroni salads. YUM! I didn't... I ate my chicken on my lettuce and then some of my cucumbers. I was too full to even get out my strawberries.

AM and B came later and brought me an Iced Coffee from Starbucks. YUM!! I was SOOO craving it. I still didn't eat my strawberries by the end of the night but that coffee was good with my stevia and it was gone fast.

We stayed and watched the fireworks and the boys had a blast. A did NOT want to sit long enough to watch them. She knew she'd go to sleep.

YAY getting closer little by little but any amount released is a good amount. I like that first week better though. LOL

Today I had my Mahi Mahi about 1:30 and then a while after that I ate a full orange. DUH! The Mahi Mahi has 1/2 an orange in it so I should have only had another 1/2 but it's too late now and I wasn't thinking. Actually I was thinking to eat an orange now and I can take an apple with me later to the parade tonight.

I've had a lot of Iced Tea today since I now have a freezer full of Ice. I need to keep Ice in there because I LOVE it. Obviously the kids do too because they think they need it all the time. A LOVES it.

We left for the parade and I'm out of veggies at home so I didn't have anything to take with us and I was afraid of getting very hungry at the parade. We stopped at the grocery store and I got some cucumbers, tomatoes and strawberries and those little containers of salt and pepper. Thought I'd keep the salt and pepper in my handy dandy neon green lunch bag. I ate a cucumber with the salt and pepper right before the parade. I didn't want to be tempted with the candy thrown from the floats.

The parade started close to 6:30 and wasn't over until 8:00. I'm SOOO happy I got that cucumber. I was hungry by then and we were going to go see the Bee movie that was showing in the Park FREE. We went to Wendy's and I got a grilled chicken salad. I think the Oriental Salad or whatever the one with Mandarin Oranges on it because the other one had breaded chicken and the other one was a ceasar and I don't do bacon even if I could.

We got to the park and set up "camp". We all ate our dinners. I took the mandarin oranges off my salad and ate the rest. I included one of my tomatoes and salt and pepper closer to the end. It was pretty tastey. uh huh!

(I missed a fruit in there) I did take my apple and never ate it. Darn!

Overall it was a good and fun day. The kids loved the movie and the parade. Even A was getting down and picking up candy that was close to us. As soon as she found out it was candy she was all over that!

Woke up and weighed this morning. YAY a full lb released.

It's 10 am and the kids are still asleep. LOL I guess it pays to let them stay up and play until they fall asleep in their room. J came out to the living room a while ago with his blanket and pillow and asked if he could watch TV and I said Maybe. He fell asleep on the floor. LOL Silly kid.

I'm craving another Iced Coffee from Starbucks. I may just have to buy some starbucks coffee and make my own at home. That means I have to clean out the ice maker and go buy ice to put in it because it's not hooked up to make ice. Grrrr

I had my Shrimp for lunch today on top of Romaine Lettuce. It wasn't as good as last nights. I did have more tomatoes so I could feel full. Last night I didn't feel full. I had an apple and then it was time to start making dinner.

Tonight we had Mahi Mahi and Oranges from the recipe book. It was very tasty. I had enough Mahi Mahi to make for the whole family so I made my portions and then made the families. They really liked the "salmon". LOL I had to keep telling them it's Mahi Mahi. FINALLY at the end of the dinner they were saying Mahi Mahi. It was really good with the oranges. I think the Romaine is getting old and I need to get more. It's tasting very strong. Not so good.

U came home with a bag of ice YAY!!!! I put it in the ice maker and made iced tea so I can have iced drinks now. It's so much easier to drink something ice cold in the summer than just fridge cold.

I had my cucumbers in vinegar for my 2nd veggie today and for some reason I saw the mustard in the fridge and it sounded good so I thought I'd try it with the cucumbers. It was actually not bad. I know sounds YUCK but it really wasn't. LOL

I woke up today feeling MUCH better. I'm feeling a bit hungry today. No headache WOO HOO!!

I waited until noon to eat 1/2 a grapefruit with salt. YUMMY I love grapefruit. I went to Target to get a baby gate and while I was there I got an Iced Coffee from Starbucks with NOTHING in it. I put 2 packs of Stevia in it and it was SO GOOD!! I drank it through the store as I shopped.

Ate my Tilapia from last night with some lettuce and lemon juice. It was good but the last bite of the Tilapia was burnt or is it burned? LOL So it left that taste in my mouth. YUCK!

We went to a movie and saw Baby Momma. U and the boys got popcorn. It was SOOO hard to sit there and not eat it. Smelled SO yummy! I did have 1 piece and that was it. I sucked on it for a while. LOL

Got home and I cooked some Curry Shrimp stuff for me. U made him and the boys some Ramen Noodles. The Shrimp stuff was OK. I ate it on top of tomatoes and lettuce.

Then I had an apple before my 2nd dose and went to bed.

Last night I went to sleep with a horrible headache. I woke up with a visitor full on. I started my peroid (TOM = that time of the month). YUCK! I still have a headache too.

Ok I had a headache ALL day.

I ate an apple about noon... then I ate my lunch about 1-2ish. I don't even remember. I boiled spinach again and put lemon juice and sea salt on it. The spinach didn't taste as good today but the chicken was good.

I tried to take a nap and U came home so I went into my room to close the door. I finally did get to sleep and it was time to take the boys to get their Chiro Xrays done. So, we ALL went to the Chiro. I took some Tylenol before we left. I REALLY couldn't function. That's SO not like me. It was almost like a migrane. The tylenol finally helped a while later.

After the Chiro we were there a long time... didn't leave until 6ish. So, we went to Applebee's for Dinner. I heard they have a good WW menu so I figured I could get something. I ordered the Cajun Lime Tilapia with a side salad instead of the sides that come with it and NO dressing. I ate half the tilapia with the salad. I also had 2 glasses of Iced Tea with lots of lemon. Yes I'm eating more than 1 lemon juice a day. I have to have it on some things and I didn't have stevia with me for the tea. It was only 160 calories for the Tilapia I ate and I brought the rest home to have tomorrow. YIPEE!! I was actually WAY full!!

U got a dessert and I didn't even taste it. I did eat the 1 crouton off my salad. LOL I hope that doesn't affect me too much. I was tempted to eat 1 french fry but I knew that one would lead to more so I was good.

I'm going to eat half a grapefruit in just a bit and then get to bed.

I gained today. I thought yesterday's loss was a lot. So really since Friday I've lost 1.2 or .6 a day. So, when I look at it like that it's not so bad. I'm still down 11 lbs total in a week. WOWZA!!

I had a half a grapefruit at noon and then the Sweet Wasabi Chicken but I boiled some spinach and put lemon juice and sea salt on it then the chicken on top. It was good.

I tried to take a nap but it wasn't working with the kids running all over and I was on the couch.

For dinner I made the family some cream of mushroom soup mixed with brown minute rice stuff and myself a Mexican Cilantro Chicken something dish. It was spicy but flavorful and pretty good. I put it on top of Romaine lettuce. It had my 2nd veggie. I'm guessing that spinach is a veggie so that was my first.

Later I cut up some strawberries I had in my fridge that were going bad. I put them in a bowl and put a pack of stevia on them. It was a different taste for sure and some was bitter but some was good. I might have to have it again with fresher strawberries and mashed a little more and maybe frozen.

Now, I have a huge headache. I feel it might be from not being able to take a good nap this afternoon but it could be only having just over 400 calories for the whole day today too. I've been trying my best to drink drink drink. I know the last few days I have been working hard on drinking too.

Now, I'm getting ready for bed.

Today I woke up SOOO surprised that I had lost 7.2 lbs. YIPEEE!!!! How exciting. I'm feeling so great too. The loss is making the food part so worth it. I'm not expecting to see great losses every day but I'll take what I get. Whooopie!

I had a lunch with the local moms group at Spaghetti Factory so I took my Spicy Mustard Chicken with me along with those little vine tomatoes cut up with salt and pepper on them and some of the Spicey Mustard Sauce that I made to cook the chicken with. I ordered A a kids Mac N cheese and myself a dinner salad. I took the carrots and croutons off and piled my stuff on top. It was actually very tastey. I think I put too much sauce on because it was too vinegary for me but it was overall very good.

I went to the grocery store and got some items to make a few salads for our BBQ and picked up some more apples and Tarragon (since I didn't have any yet).

Came home and had to relax a bit because it was so stinking hot I was exhausted and A was asleep. I shouldn't have but I needed to. I got ready for the BBQ and we were only 2 hours late. YIKES. I made what my family calls Spastic Salad (cool whip, lime jello mix, pineapple chunks and cottage cheese) mixed together. It sounds gross but it's really good. I threw in a green salad and took a ton of salad dressings. We had to stop and get hot dogs for U and the kids and get gas. That took an hour of the 2 to get there.

We got to the BBQ ate our food. I had made for myself a Rosemary Asparagus (with the terragon because I now don't have rosemary), sweet wasabi dipping sauce/Marinade for my chicken. I cooked my chicken on the george forman grill with the sauce before we left. It wasn't mouth watering but it was OK. I may have it again and add more Wasabi because all I tasted was the Liquid Amino's. Yes I tried them. Not sure if I liked them but... oh well. I also had bought a 64 oz iced tea unsweetened at the gas station that I drank 3/4 of while sitting at the BBQ.

After we were done at the BBQ we took the kids to the Rodeo. It was a lot of fun. The boys were fighting that they didn't want to go but after we got there they had a blast. They bought Kettle Corn YUM!! I could just sit there and smell it. :( I ate my last fruit of the day though, my orange. It wasn't hard to sit there with them eating popcorn. It just smelled SO yummy.

We sat on a grass hill that was on the way to the car because they said there would be fireworks but we never saw any. It was ok because the boys chased each other and played with their glow toys and A ran around us getting some energy out. We also waited for the traffic to die down so it didn't take us an hour to get out.

I'm fixing when I blog because I think it's confusing. I'm actually writing this Sunday morning about Saturday and the weight I had from that day but I'm going to start with the weight I get that morning and write if that makes sense. Since I know what my weight was today I'll put it here but starting today it's going to be a bit different.

Not a lot released since yesterday. That's ok. I will try to figure out what I did. Maybe it was the tomatoes with the lettuce. ?? I thought lettuce was a "eat as much as you want" food. I did feel very satisfied at the end of the night. I'm not hungry or feeling like I didn't get enough to eat. Maybe it was because I had 5.5 more calories than I should have.

We all went to the chiro with U today so I had to hurry and prepare my lunch and take it with us. I ate it in the car on the way there. I ate my apple on the way back. They stopped and got sub sandwiches and they sounded SOOO good. Avocado's YUM!!

I got home and made my dinner to take to Bunko with me and my lunch tomorrow. I decided to make a Spicy Mustard Chicken. I had to make the spicy mustard too. It wasn't very hard to make either one. Didn't take much time either. I took that with a few little tomatoes off the vine cut in 4ths with salt and pepper and a half grapefruit. I ate my food when I got there with everyone else eating so it wasn't too odd. Then when they were eating brownies and ice cream I ate my grapefruit with salt. It was yummy. Usually sitting at the table I'm good and don't eat the candy that's sitting there. This time I really wanted to just because it was there but not because I "wanted" it. I drank a bottle of unsweetened black tea with my stevia sweetener also.

I hope I'm doing the days with the releases right. It makes sense to me but I don't know if it will to someone else reading. I actually update the morning after with the loss from THAT day. I write through the blog throughout the day so it IS from that day. If it's confusing help me figure out how to make it make sense to you.

I'm feeling VERY hungry this morning. My stomach is growling like it's starving. UGH! I really want to order the flavored stevia's so I can make some of those shakes.

Princess A didn't sleep very well last night. She's not sick or anything she just didn't want to go to sleep. She was doing acrobats across the bed all night. Then the alarm went off at 5:45 and she was up for good. YAWN!!! I am soooo tired and she's still bouncing off the walls. It's only 8:45 am.

Finally 10:00 am she fell asleep. She was sharing an apple with E and he accidentally bit her finger. Awww poor baby. It hurt it broke skin in a few places. He felt so bad. It was totally an accident too but... it hurts.

So I had the Chicken Taco's for lunch today and I put the meat on a bed of romaine lettuce and cut up some little red tomatoes. (I can't remember the name of them) I ate that. It was really good!

I decided to make Pesto Chicken for dinner tonight. I LOVE LOVE LOVE pesto. I've never made it before. It was REALLY good. I also made it for the family. They didn't like it as much as I did. They felt it was too lemony. Eh when that's part of the only flavors you get it is just really good. They were able to eat it with brown rice.

I made Cucumbers marinated in Apple Cider Vinegar. It brought back a LOT of memories. My grandma used to make these and I had no idea that's the vinegar she used. I've tried to use regular vinegar and it didn't work. YUMMMYYYY!!!! I'm loving it now. My kids even loved them.

So today I ate:

I totally understand that when I compare how hard she works compared to how much I tried to walk and it kicked my butt. It's ok she really looks great anyway as she is.

I think AM and I are going to get together this week and do menu's at least for the next week.

We've saved money not eating out!!!

Today I started with an apple around noon. Then about 2-3 ish I had my curry chicken that I made last night mixed with fresh spinach leaves. It was pretty good.

For Dinner I made Chicken Taco's out of the cookbook. It says to use lettuce leaves in place of a tortilla or shell but I didn't have a head of lettuce. So, I took the romaine lettuce I had and made it into a taco salad I guess. LOL The family had diced tomatoes on theirs and they really liked it.

I'm not making as much as I used to and it seems they are not eating as much either. Maybe this food is just more filling. I dunno. LOL

I've been making 2 servings of whatever dinner I'm going to have so I can have it the next day for lunch. It's working really well. I hate cooking twice a day. I hate cooking once a day but I'll do it. After I cook for a while it's not so bad and using these recipes is really fun because I am using spices I've never heard of or used before and they are really yummy.

I had a slight headache today but nothing serious. Yesterday was much worse.

I went walking with J tonight and OMG I could only walk 2 laps. It's kicking my butt! I'm a sweating hog and get very tired. Somewhere I read that you can exercise 1 hour a day but really they suggest none at all. I can see now why they say none.

Today was good! Was so much smoother than yesterday. I didn't eat anything until after noon and I had an orange. That held me through til about 2ish and I had what I had made last night.

Because the dinner I had made last night had a lot of onions in it I counted that as my vegetable. So, for lunch I had my chicken and veggie.

I made dinner it was a Curry Chicken and an Asparagus and Apple Salad. For the family I just made a larger portion of the Curry Chicken and Brown Rice.

They Curry Chicken and Asparagus and Apple Salad were REALLY yummy. I could only eat half the salad at dinner. Then I went walking and over to help AM with her menu planning.

I did make tea sometime during the day because I bought an Iced Tea Brewer and thought I really need to drink tea in the morning so I'm not so hungry.

When I went to get Bragg's Liquid Amino's on sunday from Harmon's the guy there told me they have MSG in them. He said it's a secret but they really do. I was no to happy about that esp after getting this cook book and a lot of the recipes have Liquid Amino's in them. So, I posted on a forum asking and I got a LONG answer that I don't really know if it's an answer. LOL So, if anyone knows or knows how I can find out... please tell me.

Overall a good day! I tried to finish the Asparagus and Apple Salad when I got home after walking and AM's house but I still couldn't eat it all because I was too full.

Oh I did have a headache today too. It was almost to the point I couldn't concentrate. It lasted for about an hour maybe. I think it was the most stressful part of my day. The kids were fighting, U had just gotten home and I was trying to decided what to make for dinner and put recipes in my bodybugg program to get calories. Too many things at once.

While I was making this to eat I decided to cut up the chicken I had purchased and weigh it into 3.5 oz sizes. I put them in sandwich size bags to freeze them so when I want to cook something they are already in the right portion. I ended up with 18 bags of 3.5 oz of chicken. That's going to last me 9 days. YIPEE!!

I ate my chicken and it was REALLY good.

I then finished putting the chicken away and was still a little hungry. I knew I had to get at least 1 veggie in before it got too late in the day and had a veggie with dinner too. So, I had a cucumber. I shared with the kids but weighed what I ate so I could get the correct calories for what I did eat. I was beyond full. I don't think I finished the cucumber portion that I had for myself.

By this time it was about 3 in the afternoon. Time to think of what to have for dinner. So, I found another recipe on that website.

Garlic Chicken


This is something I can make for the whole family. So, I make my portion up in my own little pan and make some in the big pan for the family. Get it all in the oven and cooking.

I ran to Sam's with AM and J to get some items she wasn't able to get from the day before. I LOVE their Ice Cream Sundae with the fruit mix. I don't know what they call it but we LOVE them. I saw some ladies walking out of the store with them when we first got there. Then through the store as we got closer to the food area I told AM it's just torture because I'm so hungry and really want one but I'm not going to get one. As we checked out she wanted to get J one... LOL I said to her yeah it's ok just torture me some more. LOL It wasn't bad I knew I could eat when I got home before I went walking with J.

When she dropped me off I went into the house and devoured my food. I had made two so I could have one for lunch the next day. U was so funny he asked if I wanted more. (They really liked it and made noodles to put with theirs). I told him I ate my portion and couldn't have anymore but thanks. He said there's another one here. LOL Yep that's for tomorrows lunch. That's the portion I get to eat, feel bad for me now? It's not very much.

I went walking with J as soon as I was done eating. Surprisingly I was pretty full. I drank a ton of water through the day too. I need to get my hydration up.

Walking was good and I was not too hungry but I brought an apple to eat on the way home so I wasn't eating too late and it was my last fruit for the day.

Now, for tomorrow to see how much of a loss I have. YAY!!

Today was my first load day. I was up SOOO late the night before all I wanted to do was sleep. I had 2 Mrs. Fields Cookies, took a 4 hour nap and then went to sushi for dinner. I ate and ate and felt like I was going to burst. I had 2 cokes while eating sushi.

Starting...

Well... we did it!

I ordered the needles and syringes with a glass bottle, bac water and filter needles from a place online. The company was called Androusa Inc. Very fast shipping. Ordered on Wed and received on doorstep Friday.

Last night U sat with me and we mixed the solutions. Injections for AM and B and Sublingual Spray for myself. It wasn't as bad as I expected. I don't really know what I expected though. LOL

I delivered the Injections to AM to start this morning. We filled a few syringes to store in the fridge. Enough for 4 days for her and B each. Then we went to WalMart.

WalMart trips in the middle of the night for us are not uncommon. We can be there for hours just looking at lots of nothing. Baby J went with us too LOL So, on our (really my list) list to purchase was for me really...

We left walmart to go home about 2:30 in the AM. YIKES! Z was asleep on the couch and J was playing on the computer still. J is usually the one to be asleep first. E was sleeping at gpa's and A was in her bed.

Now, it's the morning and I have done my spray. Update on that will be at the end of the day.

I'm a little nervous but VERY excited. AM and I are going to go shopping for our food today so we can prepare it tomorrow and start the VLCD on Monday. YAY!! I am very excited for this to happen.

ACK

Ok we haven't started. I ordered needles, syringes and amber bottles with bac water online today. I hope it comes by Friday. If it's here Friday we can start Saturday. If it's here Saturday we will start Sunday. Either way we'll start the day after it gets here.

I'm still nursing A about once a day. She'd be done if someone didn't bring her to bed in the mornings. hint hint... ;) She really is ok without it until she's tired and wants to go to sleep and if I can distract her with milk or water in a cup she's fine.

Today she's having a total emotional day. I don't know what she wants. She's screaming in her bed right now. She keeps telling me no. Good thing we are learning sign language... the words and actions at the same time mean she's serious. LOL

She's settling down but she wants to take a tubby with J and E and they just want to play. Z is reading so I'll give her a tubby later when she wakes up and can play.

Delaying start day, I think...

Ok so I have to get the supplies for the injections and I'm really nervous about this. I don't know where to go or start. U called Walgreens and they said you don't have to have a prescription to get them but I'm still nervous about it.

We talked about starting Wednesday but honestly I think it will be best to start on Friday or Saturday. The first two days are fat loading days and the 3rd day is the VLCD so it would be best not to start the VLCD on Friday.

I bought some Chicken on Friday to cut into portions and freeze but I think it's bad sitting in my fridge. I guess I need to either throw it away and get more or take it back. Today is the expiration on one of them the other expiration is the 18th. So they shouldn't be smelly yet.

Going to bed... A was asleep EARLY tonight so I have a feeling she's going to be up sometime in the middle of the night or way too early in the morning.

Starting my HCG journey

I need to think of a cute creative name for my HCG journey... Help!

Today I have all the supplies to mix my HCG and get started. I'm helping friends get started too. However, they are doing injections and I'm doing sublingual.

Injections = needles
sublingual = under the tongue

I've been very excited to do this up until now. I haven't been doing so well keeping up on my bodybugg and I think it's because I knew I was going to start this journey. I also went on vacation. I did wear it though. I took it off to go on the airplane. Didn't know if it would cause issues through security.

So my excitement has turned into being nervous, stress and worry. I'm nervous about being good about doing this every day. I'm stressing about how hard it's going to be because I know it's not going to be easy. Then I'm worrying about it because I'll have to make me something different than I'm making the rest of the family. We haven't been eating at home much and during the summer that gets worse because we are on the go a lot. With this change I will have to cook more. When I start cooking I'm ok with it. It's the getting started that's the hardest part.

I'm going walking with Jenn tonight. First time in 2 weeks. I'm excited. I need to get out and we have a good time chatting while we walk.

Tomorrow hopefully I have first day post of starting the HCG diet. I don't think we are ready to start yet but we'll see.
